Saturday Morning Prep - 2012 Northern Cape

We arrive for breakfast at De Kuilen Resteraunt.

Its a freezing morning with a heavy ground frost... being so close to the dessert the temperatures plummet overnight and im glad Ive packed my winter jacket, theres a serious crust on the ground as the teams gather for their respective briefings.

Our team is being lead today by Bertus Wessels who counts the cars to check everyones here before we leave.

We have about an hour and a half drive to our first school on some some very rough roads. 4x4 vehicles are a must as we rattle and bounce our way there...

not much to say about the scenery as like last week we're eveloped in dust... from what I can see, its very flat, sand and rocks.... with a scattering of trees... and the occasional termite mound... the road however is not as flat and Im being bounced around making it impossible to take pictures.... I wonder where all the people are in this place. We briefly stop to check everyones made it...
10/10 we're all here :o)
